Medicare MNT (covered for diabetes, renal disease, and post-kidney-transplant within 36 months only) uses 97802 (initial individual, 15 min) + 97803 (follow-up individual, 15 min) + G0270 (additional MNT after a second referral in the same year, 15 min) + G0271 (group, 30 min) under your own RDN NPI at 100% with no patient cost-sharing. G0108/G0109 are separately Diabetes Self-Management Training (DSMT/DSMES) — they require AADE/ADCES program accreditation and are a different benefit, not MNT. Commercial preventive nutrition counseling is variably covered under ACA §2713.
